Mortal Shell 2 Wiki
The Mortal Shell 2 wiki for the decisions the game actually asks you to make. Weapons are shared across every Shell, so your primary and its one unique ability is a free choice; the Seal decides how you answer an attack; and seventy-eight Tarstones compete for ten sockets. Those three, and how they interact, are what this wiki is organised around.

Equipment
Weapons
8All eight primary weapons, the ability each one unlocks, and the Tarstones it will take. Weapons are shared across every Shell, so this is the one choice no Shell locks you out of.
Sidearms
8The eight ranged offhands. Each one draws on Resolve rather than ammo, which makes the sidearm slot a spending decision every fight rather than a loadout decision once.
Tarstones
78Every Tarstone with what it does, all four upgrade levels and the gear it slots into. Ten sockets, seventy-eight stones — this is where a build is actually decided.
Seals
4The Seal decides how you answer an incoming attack — guard, parry, or neither. One slot, and it rewrites your defensive game.
Cosmetics
8The skins and masks that change what the Harbinger looks like, and what each one asks for. Nothing here touches a number, which makes it the only slot where the answer is simply what you want to be wearing.
Character
Shells
9The nine Shells you can inhabit, what each one's active and passive do, and every node of its four-tier skill tree. Your Shell is the only thing in the game a weapon cannot change.
Mechanics
23The systems everything else is written in terms of: your three bars, the three things you are paid in, every buff and debuff that can be on you, and how Break and Riposte actually end a fight. If a Tarstone says it costs Resolve or inflicts Bloodcurse, this is what it means.
Trophies
53Every trophy and achievement, what the game wants from you for it, and how rare it is. Most fall out of finishing the game once; the handful that do not — a Perfect Guard chain, a mango, an NPC you have to let die — are the reason to read this before your last save.
Abilities
25Shell actives, Shell passives, and the defensive abilities Seals grant, with the effect text the game states for each.
World
Bosses
46Every boss, where it waits, and what beating it pays out. Each one gates something — a Shell, a Seal, a lever — so this doubles as the order the game expects you to take them in.
Enemies
25Every enemy family you meet more than once, with where it is placed and what that placement is for. Most of the bestiary has no name in-game, so this covers the families rather than every variant of each.
NPCs
27Everyone who talks to you rather than at you: merchants, the Shellkeeper, the Tarforge smith, and the drunks with something to say. Each entry carries their role, where to find them, and a line in their own voice.
Locations
75The three regions and every area, dungeon and hideout inside them, each linked to the bosses, NPCs and places it connects to.
Beacons
49Every beacon, the dungeon it stands at the door of, and what has to happen before it lights. Cleansing one turns ground you fought through into somewhere you can travel back to, which makes this list the shape of the map.
Items
93Keys, consumables, upgrade materials, map fragments and the odd thing whose purpose nobody has worked out yet — each with the line the game's own inventory screen shows and what it actually does.
