Vlas is the stranded traveller in Mortal Shell 2, found at Outskirts of Mammon.

Our take
Found injured on the Outskirts of Mammon after being set on, and what he asks for is help finding his cat. He is lying on the road south into the Ruins of Mammon, so you will pass him whether or not you take the job. The cat is in a cage by a cart a few steps from where he sits — the two accounts we read disagree on whether it is a crate or a cage, and agree on everything else. The job pays a Coin of Mammon, and it is not the end of him: he turns up again imprisoned at the top of the Lonesome Spire, behind the merchant there, and freeing him takes the Unremarkable Key, found north of the Sentry's Grave entrance. Buy what you want from that merchant first — one account warns his stall closes for good once Vlas walks. The questline ends with Vlas and the cat outside Marrow Keep, and a second Coin of Mammon.
